We whisper

we love you

we shout

I hate you;

One in tenderness

in thoughtfulness

one in anger

in bitterness;

Had they been

but reversed

and you I

but not;

I love you

shouted angerly

I hate you

in a whisper;

Would will still

be angry

and not bitter

but thoughtful;

To think of

that which hurts

and not regret

that which heals!
