As aging occurs in
us all
friends long known
do too
the winter months
are rocky
some days
colder/warmer
harder to move or
speak
there’s a common
wish
we each have for
us all
eternal peace
looked for
just beyond mortal
tips
our hands reaching
into
veil of our eyes
to know
then we hear of
another
older brother
approaching
soon to be passing
away
into this lifelong
goal
of eternal peace
tomorrow!
