am to help
being a
cricket at night
warning
others about
making
my funny sound
letting
know all’s safe
but when
very quiet
warning
of a danger
forgetting
that I’m bait
set on a
hook to attract
or worse
I’m a meal
created
a cricket
many
roles to play
the
first is neat
everything
else ouch
each in
turn their duty!
