Fishing was foremost
learned the skinning
cleaning and drying
some for now – later
also the future in
mind
small ponds seldom
so out on the river
and into the bays
shrimp, clams,
oysters
whatever one could
find
preparing
boats/canoes
fishing poles and
spears
finding bait and
courage
small children to the
grown
all involved in
providing!
