Searching
the horizon
diving into
the deep sea
scaling highest
mountains
seeking
to find new life
withering
all that’s seen
flowers
dying drooping
desserts
filled dustbowls
tumbleweeds
vacant
moisture
unseen
having
sucked dry
our
nation it seems
emptiness
withering
even our
laws!
