Listening with deaf ears

seeing with eyes blinded

cold unfeeling hand/fingers

unrealized potential rotting

whatever possesses another

choosing lying, cheating

deception, corruption

over what’s good/right

ignoring truths eternal

but of course whatever

if it doesn’t matter to you

then there’s not much

truth – virtue – values

can influence change

deaf ears – blinded eyes

cold unfeeling listless!
