Passing veils of time
and space
entering into sacred
forbidden
history of times once
hidden
plain sight for all
to see
blinding by
propaganda
thus most choose not
to see
within a fortress
centuries old
called a transfer
camp to hold
still death lingers
within today
how many thousand
died
Terezin or
Theresienstadt
somehow calling me
back
to where once I’d
been
escaping thought but
not
the thoughts
returning!
