Often forgotten
moments of history
some no longer taught
unknown
others only in
certain localities
yet all have taken
place known
where men/women
sacrificed
their lives for those
of others
some at great
personal risks
others their nations
at risk
which are we known to
be
for there are always
times
within history we’ve
to choose
fighting for our
freedoms all
or tripping in the
background
avoiding and thus
denying
taking as the
parasites shown
to become forgotten
moments
unlike 11 July 1780
remembered
even if by only a few
always!
