Creating first the need

Doctrine not to heed;

Listening to contention

Living then in confusion;

Careless in obedience

Found in disobedience;

First with a rock or stone

Standing foolish all alone;

Implementing new designs

Civilizations thus declines;

Bearing arms for all to see

Nations at war all to be;

Clustering then in tribes

All in hate describes;

Asking for peace in vain

Standing amid those slain;

Never once to understand

Seeking the Lord to command;

Without fruit ever to bear

Wanting more their share;

Embalmed now in a shroud

The world a smokey cloud!
