Blowing
gusting winds
swirling
snow blankets
touching
with the cold
temps in
the mid-20’s
unsafe
the mountains
no
driving on the roads
skiers
surrounding fires
telling
stories of long ago
winter
days in May
as if
the weather upset
blasting
the predictions
snow
instead of flowers
cold
winds icy to the bone
wherein
we appreciate
swirling
snow blankets
gusting
winds blowing!
