Not even out of the car

Elders approaching me

introductions were made

a quiet prayer was offered

then into the ER to go

explained to receptionist

(who we’d met earlier)

taken into the ER room

pulling the drapes tight

a Blessing then given

the Doctor came to see

getting chairs for all

she knew of the Sisters

living near her mother

thus the sacred moment

shared but still private!
