and fiction abound
what happened
– what not
some
more credit in rumors
others
slighted and unknown
sadly
the history blemished
with
little who acknowledge
then
there’s stolen valor
even the
stealing ribbons
how infrequently
caught
while
some just quiet
unsung
heroes to many
parents –
sisters – brothers
friends
who’re always there
caring
not what recorded
only in
their truth bound!
