anyone who’s anyone

worldly important

attending to be seen

showing off finest

jewels and clothes

dressed to the nines

pretending as royalty

as if without naked

while internally dead

prancing and dancing

lavish in presentation

vehicles of quality

highly polished

reflective at night

spectators gawking

media giving reverence

each hearse in turn

dropping off another

anyone who’s anyone

a red carpet affair!
