Sheer walls of fire
surrounding
hundreds of feet high
soaring
heat intensifying all
melting all
yet amid the flames
so fierce
stand the child of
innocence
pure and unbending to
be seen
as if by will parting
the flames
seeing into life ever
eternal
holding the Master’s
hand
while others the same
gather
soon all holding
hands as one
the Father’s will to
be done!
