“Yes, our duty must be done,

in the rain, the night or sun.

Weapons ready and defensive,

not evil or offensive.

We walk out road, as duty calls.

No other choice outside the walls.

Must defend our family and our homes,

outside the wall evil roams,”

Reaching into the past’s future

seeing now the whole picture

seeing from the absent rabble

into the present day babble

understanding the entitled all

welfare and indolent to recall

sitting sideways on the fence

minds in neutral and dense

while soldiers and patriots all

understand freedom’s call

never shirking or to dabble

across ice filled rivers to paddle

‘yes, our duty! to now suture

amid the media’s stricture!
