Cringing thoughts escape
too many falling short
arguments engage all
some to agree to listen
contention and resolve
logic and intelligence
without merit but sweet
tasting the salt/sugar
before the distasteful
powerful is the rhetoric
powerful are arguments
powerful also is truth
but much harder to bare
not sweet to be heard
but wonderful to digest
confidence is in truth
eternal life is in truth
while without the truth
too many falling short
cringing in their escape!
