Masterfully hidden to all
escaping unseen within
yet in memories alive
clear, concise, complete
where are we so found
as the child of youth
or the reaper of life
disciplined with honor
or hated by another
feelings unseen move
when light rain falls
misting the view ahead
of where we’ve been
and of what we’ve done
unable to remember all
which we’re to all forget
children of the horror
yet adults hiding thus
thoughts unsought today
from the fields of hurt
once known day by day!
