living in ignorant bliss.)

Here's truth, setting free
Here's truth, on the sand.

unwanting to hear
being adult not youth
worldly things dear.

Passing as the gas
embarrassing to some
wishing it to then pass
pleasant stink to come.

Truth is unchanging
natural law and common
never just rearranging
to the masses welcome.
(5)
Add nothing nor delete
yet revising is okay
ignoring under feet
with transmission to play.
(6)
Self-interest the reason
answers then the quest
prejudice is in season
in rhetoric able to rest.
(7)
Caught into the barter
prostitution of design
others to fill the charter
in babble to pine.
(8)
Creating a new claim
history then to write
attaching their name
even when found trite.
(9)
Ignoring what was truth
replacing with the new
beguiling old and youth
in mystical funny dew.

No proofs need to find
only answers already had
time will tell and remind
this science really sad.

what most amazes me is the relatively inane arguments which continue over
evaluating people 1000, 2000 or even 5000 years ago against what we have
at our disposal and what they had at theirs.
Seemingly thinking we're so far advanced and that they could be so far regressed.
One would guess with all of the advanced degrees floating around
that common sense has been lost - and the Greeks have again won the day
in rhetorical babblings which sell to the public
