Over and over heard
‘splash . splash’ but
why
heads turning to see
still the ‘splash/splash’
lights over the water
colors of profusion
seen
yet still ‘splash/splash’
never louder or nearer
children entranced awe
beginning soft singing
smiles bubbling over
dreams come go over
was it the splash heard
over and over again!
