slowly alone
therein
lay the treaded upon
breathing
shallowly captive
afraid to
fight back too late
negotiating
away freedom
making
treaties of falseness
buying
time with rhetoric
the
treaded upon dying
captive
to their slavery
the
treaded upon alone!
