Wanting to play in the snow

unseeing the damage done

carefully pushing some aside

treasures to be found beneath

here is yesterday’s flower

their a toy forgetting then

a child’s innocence pure

as the whiteness of the snow

soft and malleable to touch

enjoying dreams awake!
