Independence requires action

valor – honor - accountability

slavery only requires apathy

non-accountability for actions;

Independence requires sacrifice

obedience, honesty, truth telling

subjection only requires inaction

acquiescence to a masters will;

Which is America seeking today

so many on the welfare rolls

too many without caring apathy

uninvolved and unaccountable;

As the rattlesnake without rattle

with no need of such warning

too often found dead or branded

therefore no longer a free voice;

Such what America finding today

many having decided slavery

better than works, honesty, truth

without choices or accountability!
