“Dissembled”

Throughout history

men/women implore

asking of the Prophets

what is the Lord’s will

while never wanting

disguising righteousness

within the guile of evil

calling upon others

to tell them all in store

while ignoring truth

rather to hide away

dissembled requests

indeed going to Babylon

instead of towards Zion

imploring of the Prophets

only then to stone them

even unto this day!
