you’ve been there
or else
you haven’t been
either
you understand
or might
never do so
many
come and go away
some
never come at all
brother’s
found as one
color,
creed, culture one
needing
each to grow
depending
on all to know
pretending
never done
each day
one more won
over and
over heard a call
together
all thus to stay
together
all then to go
one
brother’s command
brother’s
blood not skin
once you’ve
been there!
