“Subduing”

Space can be many things

without ending or beginning

stretching every outward

encompassing all and more

taking our breath and heart

making us feel other worldly

lingering on the very edge

trying to see just a bit more

subduing our spirit to know

we’ve only to see what we can

and to be worthy of more

requires absolute obedience

allowing us to rest in peace

to awaken energized again

reading, studying, praying

forever seeking the truth

knowing the failure of all

begins with the failure within

first the individual succumbs

then a family follows

then the society soon after

while those who build

refusing to fail within

raise others up with them

be it only one or two

entering into the vastness

called space within self!

in most cases people decide

based on tradition and hate

blaming their upbringing

allowing themselves dumb

refusing to change at all

rather to rot in mortality

this failure to grow

to learn to discern

nothing done by self

paying others for belief

rather than seeking truth!

there are so many lies

worst of all is many believe

Often seeing a plethora of birds

big, small, medium each different

variations in colors deep/bright

the heron, egret, cardinal, owl

then again today the Rose-bud

pink and wonderfully lovely

the rose-bud spoon-bill

seldom visits my haunts

then today a pair visiting

standing with an egret

till taking off hearing me

still they’re nature’s wonder

and a pleasure able to see!

As confusion is prevalent in the world

some turning here and there always

seeking amid the thousands for one

many give up in despair overcoming

buying into the worldly of none

without a need for one Lord

then there’s no need for one faith

and why even think of baptism

too many recon without truth

carefully hidden within sight

taught not as any doctrine

the pelf is more important

than the literal Scriptures

and as Paul once said,

‘Logismoi will replace Gnosis’

and surely this has occurred!

The apostle Paul said there is “one Lord, one faith, one baptism.” (Eph. 4:5.) Then I thought, I wonder what Paul would say if he were here today and knew how many churches there are.

Peaceful time in the early AM

almost forgetting it’s Saturday

just getting into the genealogy

preparing for the day’s activities

so much to do where’s the time

‘oh no! the kids are awake’

all at once like a dream change

quiet peace serenity – to what

certainly not chaos or noise

but lots of fun, love, and hugs

the kids are awake so leaving

family first – family always/forever!

What a stupid generation we live

proclaiming a belief in a god

which god and why this one

forgetting that God unchanging

the same yesterday and today

will be the same on the morrow

Heavenly Father testified too

his only begotten Son told us

over and over and over again

within the Scriptures literally

thus let’s go back in time

Hosea is a good beginning

which fully describes evil

wondering why is dumb

as to the evil ever present

one only need to observe

the filthiness all around us

how dumb can we ever be

to ignore the Holy Scriptures?

Hosea 4:2 By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood.
