"Logismoi, (pronounced, log-is-mee) are thoughts and
thought/images that come to us to lead us away from Christ. They are
distracting and are a result of the fall of mankind."
Paul over and over Prophesied that the Gnosis would be lost –
basically testimony/truth or God’s word – and would be replaced by the wisdom
of man – or logismoi! After the 2nd Century most of the Gnosis was
lost – the last of the Apostles died in shortly after 150AD – and of course
John was no longer available to be seen by those left in Judea and other parts
of the once Primitive Church. By this time the Gnostics (false teachers)
arrived on the scene in full force (some were around even at the time of the
Apostles – Peter spoke of them in his letters to James his brother).
Thus false teachings had already begun. By the advent of the 3rd
Century Greek Philosophy (Rhetoric) had supplanted most of the schools of the
Philosophers and the early Christian Fathers were fed this as mother’s milk.
Augustine and Origen were the foremost as both students and then teachers. At
this point when the last of the members of the Primitive Church would not
convert to the new way of thinking about the Scriptures – that they were not to
be taken literally – changes came fast and were never reversed – thus
fulfilling all of the Prophesies of the Prophets to include Paul – and the
other Apostles and most surely the Savior. At this point the Apostasy or the
loss of truth was transferred to the logismoi of the Creeds (which still exist
today). Any who still persisted in the literal truths of the Scriptures were
killed at the orders of the heads of the reformed churches – including
Augustine who gave approval to the murders.
Ever since those days of the 3rd
and 4th Centuries reformations have taken place – most notably with Luther and
those of his time – but still the reformations were locked to the creeds of
men/women – and to this day have not gone back to the literal truths of the
Scriptures. Thus as also foretold by the Prophets and Apostles – and the Savior
– there would have to be a Restoration as one cannot take a live branch from a
dead tree.
The logismoi had to be done away with – replaced with once more
the Gnosis – Revelation, Prophets and Apostles again had to be called by God to
do this work – and as the Jewish scholars had long foretold that a ben Joseph
had to come before ben David (the Savior). This happened in the early 1800’s –
but still today almost all of the known world rejects it now as they did then.
Partly the reason is that there’ve been over 120,000 changes to
the Bible since about 1880 – and I believe over 20,000 editions of the Bible.
The Jewish religion only use the first five books of the Old Testament – the
Catholic Church only the first four books of the New Testament – other
religions of the world follow lock step with regard to the non-literalness of
the Bible (to be taken with a grain of salt) and fully condemn any other
Scriptures, Revelations and or Prophets and Apostles in our day.

trusting the Scriptures or
trusting those interpreting
which should need none
other than to cause discord
getting confused to resist
caring not for truth or lie!
