“Thoughtfulness”

cji

1/31/13

Thinking through the years

memories of multiple thoughts

kindnesses and understandings

challenges, trials, tribulations

tears, fears, jeers, cheers all

winning and losing found

in my heart always to win

knowing the other won fair

and I didn’t lose ever once

thus pondering-wondering

my life in retrospect fulfilled

in the thoughtfulness of love

fearing not to give or share

seeking Father’s will eternal!

“The Plan of Evil 2”

cji

1/30/13

Without temptations or coercions

ignoring any truth or even lies

diverting ones attentions away

forgetting the reason for life

mortifies tests and tribulations

pondering of the Scriptures

distractions doing quite well

many have left the path astray

having no clue of doing wrong

having fun and being satisfied

carnal and sensual as but one

floating down rivers to the sea

amid the glitter of noise and light

distractions aplenty till too late

unknowing of the Father’s plan

eternal life never to understand!

“Bright Lights”

cji

1/30/13

Blindingly bright lights

shaking up the senses

making strong illusions

changing present past

inducing all to flinch

confusion’s dumbness

images of kaleidoscopes

unable to ponder thought

thus unable to think

numbing the senses!

“Noise”

cji

1/30/13

Just plain old everyday noise

The louder the better in toys;

Music without meaning good

Hammering and slamming wood;

Bells and whistles shrilling

Screams ever so chilling;

Deafening and defeating souls

Raking one ears over the coals;

Noise of any kind able to abuse

Creating the reasons to excuse!

“Distractions”

cji

1/30/13

Finding ways to not to think

seeking pleasure instead

fireworks and pornography

fast cars and wasted movies

childish games of violence

anything to cause distractions

thus keeping to ponder truth

even perchance of eternity!

“The Plan of Evil”

cji

1/30/13

To win over man and woman

even the children of any age

is to find things to occupy then

or rather to distract them each;

Then in the confusion to teach

never to bother with the when

time to turn one more page

anything to block Father’s plan!

“The Hesitant”

cji

1/29/13

So much incivility to grasp

neighbors afraid to talk aloud

worried by what to be rumored

many become the hesitant

unwilling to share happiness

rather to keep to one’s self

opening mouths in silence

while commanded to share

silenced by the government

refusing to teach the truth!

“Disruptions”

cji

1/29/13

Where will it stop if ever

when will we have enough

turning the keys of freedoms

rejecting Founding Fathers

rejecting the Atonement too

pretending neither existed

disruptions to our agency

forcing others to follow

the Plan of satan today

decreeing all to be equal

disrupting and denying

choice to succeed or fail

demanding here on earth

that which was rejected

in the pre-existence!

“Frozen Yogurt”

cji

1/29/13

Long ago in time and space

money was short and tight

married and mostly broke

but able meals to stretch;

Oh there was a small catch

found in a genius stroke

frozen yogurt which I write

allowing for a meal to pace!

“A Warm Welcome”

cji

1/28/13

Extended through cyber space

at the speed beyond my scope

hopefully heat generated there

for my understanding of space

very cold and not much oxygen;

Unless they collide with halogen

which is negative and hard to trace

a warm welcome to be very fair

knowing this is our sincere hope

welcome to our non-PC place!

“Measured Beats”

cji

1/29/13

Drums slowly rolling heard

velvet covers over the heads

muffling the sound made

measured beats marching

horses moving as prescribed

flags lowered to half mast

bugles in double taps

too often to occur today

yet history remembers too

man’s greed for another’s

ignoring common sense

in non-obedience today!

“Little Time to Waste”

cji

1/28/13

Little time to waste at the mall

even less following the telly

so much to be done this day

anxiously engaged in service

the poor, hungry, naked, widow

orphans abandoned at home

schools in parental controls

to take back our nation again

for yes it has wandered away

as in the sixties/seventies

prayer and righteousness

hand in hand to initiate

thus all repenting to truth

coming clean from the world

once again to be obedient

otherwise Father and Son

will not listen to our pleas

without our works to do

so very little time to waste!
