thoughts felt in a look

feelings static electricity

lost within time’s maze

communicated whispers

sad tears transmitted

child smiles or warmth

blending my mind

emitting my fingers

slower steps taking

still together as always

sharing unspoken words

quiet smiles of love

aging tenderly now

memories making

shorter walks taking

as one hand in hand!

Happening most times

hurrying to get done

driving too fast home

talking without thinking

leaving out steps often

too often way too sure

mistakes happening

lives are at stake

most caring not at all

engaged at the mall

never hearing the call

hurrying to no-where

most times happening!

“Agency Lost”

Refusing to be obedient

giving up precious choice

‘if you love me keep my…’

thus if one keeps not

choosing to do other

what is left agency lost

willfully giving it away

it could never be taken

only by choosing wrong

choosing not the right

refusing obedience

keeping not commands

given by our Savior!

“Shadows in Sunshine”

Sunshine in shadows

awakening to the Sabbath

taking in breath of new day

kneeling in gratefulness

preparing for the day

a day of service

embracing Father’s will

caring for the widow

seeking the orphans

clothing the naked

feeding the hungry

shadows in sunshine

reversing their day

this the Sabbath Day

Father’s day to honor

feeding his children

caring for their needs!

Sharp the winds of time

disregarding historical facts

eroding away truth literal

scraping with a rasp

erasing memories slowly

each day stronger winds

technology to change

ecolianing history today

brainwashing with guile

sad and unfortunate

political correctness

hurricanes and typhoons

sand driven by high winds

blasting away at truths

leaving only trash behind!

“Surly We Know”

As witnesses we stand

some to testify of truth

others in silence of lies

there will be no excuses

surly we know about Him

he gave his all for us

one can read all of it

Scriptures/manuscripts

some over 5000 years

others spoken today

Prophets are His own

they were alive in ages

they are alive this day

when one refuses truth

truth still remains truth

either of truth or lies

as witnesses we stand!

some within our minds

others to share with others

photo companions meet

while other interests shared

genealogy and being friends

serving Father’s children

what the eye has seen

the mind retains forever

thus with friends same

memories and friendship

some within our minds

Falling on blind eyes

ears which cannot hear

feelings numbed cold

what to write to awake

new words uninvented

cherished thoughts

truthfulness repeated

but still so few care

what to write asked

would the Father ask

permission to share

madness struggles

why so easy once

so difficult today

truth is always truth

whether one believes

feelings numbed cold

ears which will not hear

blinded eyes closed!

“A Stranger’s Assist”

How different the times

another doing a search

data found once lost

now at hand to read;

Modern miracles to heed

miles of space crossed

information to merge

piecing so many lines;

Information to convey

of others now passed

another in the past drilling

providing that missed;

A stranger’s assist

unknown but willing

space miles bypassed

doing all to assist today;

“Indifference”

Gathering mold in darkness

ages found well in the past

eerie in comparisons found

known only to a small few

most in total indifference

failing to see similarities

too involved in the worldly

once alive and very vital

now only deadened lost

history laments this failure

while the revisionists cheer

unwilling to read or heed

tangled into the maze left

to be burnt as rubble

forgetting why sent here!

Blindly leading the blinded

all refusing to see the literal

defining changes as actual

then denying any changes

calling for the love of Father

including His Son the Savior

refusing to see relationship

testified by the Son often

calling them immaterial

denying a physical being

refusing to see the literal

the blinded following blindly!

“Searching”

Eyes bloodstained red

searching hours on end

unable to rest or break

needing one more to find

then another and so on

never completing a task

ever searching the night

knowing each is there

just need to find them

resisting attempts to rest

knowing they’re waiting

searching one more place

engulfed needing sleep!
