Haystacks along the
roads
one after another a
flame
giving warning to
cities
towns, villages,
fortresses
comes the enemy in
force
two fire lights in
towers
flames in the harbors
far off cannons
spurting
alarming fires all
about
consuming themselves
and the cities, towns,
villages and fortresses
too late did anyone
notice!
