Sitting
by the windows
darkened
all the outside
hearing
the groaning
flashing
of the lightning
rains
beating the windows
chilling
the air all about
rumors
of storms heard
knowing
the intensity
feeling
the depth within
more and
more to follow
cascading
the rivers flood
crops
ruined in fields
unheeded
the rumors
all the
outside darkened
by the
windows sitting!
