couldn’t

waking
up being bathed
fed and
then clothed
told ‘no
mud puddles’
put in
this quandary
play
days with no mud
well the
temptations
hard on
one so young
called
inside for food
top of
the head to toe
covered
in mud right
rolled
in the mud
avoided
the puddles
clothes
changed
excused
to bed
couldn’t
have been 4
(now to
repent??)!
