Jude: Contend for the faith—Some angels kept not their first
estate—Michael disputed about the body of Moses—Enoch prophesied of the Second
Coming—Mockers will come in the last days.
Isaiah 2: Isaiah sees the latter-day temple, gathering of Israel, and
millennial judgment and peace—The proud and wicked will be brought low at the
Second Coming
Awaken one and all – read the words of Isaiah and the
Prophets – each and all – but start somewhere!
Let’s
pretend you’ve to prepare a 45-minute talk on a subject someone else choses for
you. Something you may or may not be familiar with. Of a single volume on this
subject there are upwards of 1,000+ translations and over 26,000+ editions.
You’ve to take your text literally from the one you consider the most accurate.
You’ve one month to prepare your presentation.
Your
audience will be the world in which you live. Some being familiar even scholars
in your area of presentation. Others being totally unfamiliar while most are
somewhat familiar having been taught by the scholars.
Your
presentation must make common sense – be reasonable – truthful and without any
guile – i.e. you must completely believe in your presentation without any
conflict of thought or belief. Your grade will be your eternal life.
Your
Subject: The Book of Jude in combination with the Book of Isaiah.
The
Book of Jude has no second witness however the Book of Isaiah has! Whether you
choose to use this second witness is totally up you. 1Nephi 22-22 and 2 Nephi
7, 8, 12-24; and Alma 14. (Note: of this 2nd Witness there is only
one translation and of the few editions 88 have been in foreign languages.
Other editions only organized format adds current revelations latest 1981 or to
keep up with the world of digitalization latest being 2013; further any changes
have been minor to the text.) In any event the usage of the 2nd
Witness is up to you.
If
you decide to accept this assignment or if not, one still must awake to the
realization that their eternal salvation will be based on their own reading of
the Scriptures (all of them) and then taking them literally. Most Bible
scholars only take a small % of the Scriptures literally and many refute such a
thing as revelation(s) – rather depending on Greek Philosophy instead and the
teachings of men. In any event we must wake up – realizing that there is more
to life than being born – living and dying.
When a flower is placed in a window it will
always lean towards the light – if you turn it around it will again lean
towards the light. Men and Women were sent with the mission to do this also.
Light is always associated with truth and understanding. In the application of
your presentation keep this in mind for the children of the Father and the Son
should always be seeking the light. Too many accept alternatives and soon lose
the sight of the light. Ponder carefully the Scriptures especially Jude and
Isaiah.
