"Heavenly Father and His Son"

“Heavenly Father and His Son”

Confusion is the adversary eternally
denial, accusation, rhetoric
changeable and unreliable
worldly intellectual dominion
taking everything philosophical
mixing in Scriptures loosely
however it doesn’t matter
Heavenly Father and Son
two separate individuals
testify of each other eternally
one is our Savior eternal
the other our Heavenly Father
to whom we pray always
non-confusing and literally true
common sense and reason
unless of course one decides
Scriptures untrue not literal!

Hi my friend – tried to do more research – first we’ve to remember that the Savior or Jesus Christ – was commissioned by his Father – Elohim – to do all things in his name – therefore – they became interchangeable. Some churches contend that Jehovah and the Father are one – and therefore the church – Jehovah’s Witnesses proclaim that this actually the case and therefore the name by which they are known. Other churches claim they (the God Head) are one – without body or form.

What we’ve been able to glean from the Scriptures (not taken out of context – which most do) – as that Jesus Christ is Jehovah of the Old Testament – which he testifies to being. That he is the literal son of Heavenly Father (Elohim) and can be called by such.  But in preference to often repetitive vain usage of the Savior names – Elohim is not referenced or mentioned whenever possible to prevent this profane usage.

Suffice to say the intellectual pursuits of men/women distort things to mean what they want and not what the Scriptures literally state. You made a good point today – who’s translation can you trust?  This rests on the individual – whether they take the Bible literally (as translated correctly) or the reversed historical proofs by deciding what you want to believe and then backing into what supports what you want it to mean.

It’s both simple common sense – if the Savior testifies to who he – why he was sent here – and who sent him – and all the men/women in the world say that’s not true – who do you believe?

Yah·weh ˈyäˌwā/
noun
1.     a form of the Hebrew name of God used in the Bible. The name came to be regarded by Jews ( c.300 BC) as too sacred to be spoken, and the vowel sounds are uncertain.
God’s name is almost always translated LORD (all caps) in the English Bible. But the Hebrew would be pronounced something like “Yahweh,” and is built on the word for “I am.”. ... There are at least 10 things the name Yahweh, “I AM,” says about God:
YAHWEH-SHALOM [yah-way-shah-lohm]: "The Lord Our Peace" (Judges 6:24) – the name given by Gideon to the altar he built after the Angel of the Lord assured him he would not die as he thought he would after seeing Him. YAHWEH-ELOHIM [yah-way-el-oh-him]: "LORD God" (Genesis 2:4; Psalm 59:5)
