Do the deaf have ears

do the blind have eyes

do the mute have tongues

do the living have a brain

do their hearts beat

do their bodies function

does the world really care

does anyone know truth

yes the deaf, blind, mute

have ears/eyes/tongues

hearts do beat often

bodies function as well

then why do so many

live as if hearing nothing

seeing nothing at all

saying nothing of evil

cringing hoping for what

that there is no God

there’s no Commandments

there’s no accountability

staggers the imagination

of so many with all

ears to hear-eyes to see

tongues able to speak

wear earplugs-blinders

spewing profanity’s voice

and yet expect to live

in accordance with Gospel

while having no belief

except to be saved!
