Today’s the Sabbath Day

yet how many still asleep

ringing church bells quieted

religious freedoms fading

wake up calls unanswered

how many more yet to come

sadly fewer and fewer

soon it’ll be too late

no longer able to awake

no longer able to repent

passing the Sabbath Day

into obscurity as Prophets

still there’ll be another

wake up call all to answer

when no other choice

today’s the Sabbath Day!
