Time enters space passage

once in the present then past

sometimes one hundred years

others seeking over a thousand

finding a progenitor then another

linking and seeking and finding

helping self and others to dig

translations and translating

listing and documenting each

journeys we take with history

generation to generation

a family here – one there

finding a missing child

or a foundling w/o parents

records burned/destroyed

hidden or buried forgotten

following old myth stories

always seeking to discern

almost having conversations

awakening to new thoughts

places to look overlooked

genealogy and ancestry

within the deepness felt

journeys present past

space passage within time!
