and bugles play
bands
marching proud
what is
thus remembered
when we
retreat within
minds
seeking solace
brave
soldiers now lost
terrible
this deadly cost
in
wilderness lawless
trails
nowhere to begin
our
hearts surrendered
tears
over their shroud
how much
longer to stay
in
history now weighed
all
forgotten vibrations!
