deeming them theirs
nothing else will do
yet what if there was
most accept nothing
what fools call gold
Malachi calls everything
Eternal life as family
yet he offers another
no roots and no branches
just nothing at all!

tis a Sabbath Morn
hymns filling the air
for where to go today
seems only correct
but then what then
going home or where
keeping the Sabbath
or, or where to go
each to answer alone

or only suggestions!

violence within the streets
homes found burning lost
whirlwinds of destruction
waves of magnificence
earthquakes and floods
people running to hide
yet nowhere to be found
today ruction all around
yet malls still crowded
games still being played
thus when someone asks;
“Can you hear?”
That still small voice
calling each to a home
many will be all alone!

Smooth sailing – calm seas
a fair wind and full sails
cresting high on the waves
seeing safe havens ahead
knowing all is good/well
but what do our prayers tell
do we say just words said
are we public not in caves
or like some of the wails
men alone only to please;

When things are good true
do we remember to pray
thanking Father in everything
wherever we are found
or are our lips so bound
nothing to the table bring
forgetting on the good day
we’re to account a new;

Prayer is for all of the time
good or bad things to know
happiness able to share
stormy weather or fair
thus our spirits to grow
as on our knees we climb!

Sabbath Days come
and then they go
another day to pass
games and freedom
some to church go
then quickly to a show
never seeking a kingdom
after attending a mass
surely nothing to know
this is only for some!

praying unto Father

Know ye the answer
given in many a way
while we from men seek
through the Spirit felt
as in prayer we’ve knelt
coming to the very meek
each and every day
the Spirit does answer!

thus over and over
feeling a miracle

peacefully to rest!

money, transportation, etc.
all the physical needs
preparedness requires
yet on the Sabbath Day
professing a belief
professing a love
yet without obedience
yet without accountability
yet without responsibility
standing in the weather
shaking now in dread
without paying tithing
without doing callings
without a recommend
without – within – without
preparedness in Spirit
lacking the most plain
no excuses to explain!
