bizarre colors of night
twisting along darkness
trash and garbage
soiled diapers amiss
nasty windless smells
yet grand paintings
portraying illusions
immune to the truth.)

“An Individual”

Seeking self satisfaction
smiling crookedly often
breaking mirrors as well
windows shuttered cold
without feelings warm
an individual selfishly
gathering moss above
wavering thought none
minds made up ahead
traditions or illusions
fixed right or wrong!

“Created by Man”

Inventions uninspired
refusing proper credit
claiming all to a self
forgetting about all
claiming instead no awe
gathering in their pelf
history books to edit
as dutifully required!

“Bells and Whistles”

Gleaming new paint
brightly lit the lights
parades and cheering
pretending to be fun
tight clothes and shoes
primping and swaying
temptations to present
however empty corpses
nothing within/without
just bells and whistles
pretending to joust!

“Lacking”

Without spirit or love
colder than winter ice
freezing thoughts
curdling screams quiet
bending waves askew
abyss’s created deep
whirlpools with winds
sucking in all about
yet lacking in all
voids created oft!

“Basically”

Quite unseen or known
without any embellishment
simple truths and falsehoods
distinguished in all the arts
open for all to view and know
basically simplicity just there;

Nothing is ever found so fair
clear cut for a vision to grow
flaming as well thrown darts
displayed as simple foods
just as a Commandment
basically common sense grown!
