So much at hand
understandable all
yet most left alone
unused and useless
man is so careless
studying as a stone
breaking to a stall
ignorance to demand;

How foolish thus today
those who decry some
saying, ‘enough we have’
‘need no more to save’
choosing now a slum
heaven’s course astray!
