Over roads and deserts
rocks and muddy roads
wondering if all alone
while others care not;
A stranger here forgot
just away from home
traveling many roads
seeking not just desserts;
Yet on the Sabbath Day
many a hue and cry
seeking darkness found
unwilling to now discern;
Life’s lessons to learn
simple yet profound
answers to the why
which is why we pray!
