We begin on this quest

the Scriptures to wrest

knowing the final test

this is no time to rest;

 

You come as my guest

but I’m only to suggest

while the worldly jest

having a hedonistic fest;

 

My words without request

wisdom hopefully to invest

the Scriptures to wrest

we partake of this quest!
