Pure white snow
covering all
then soon spotted
with bodies
afterwards running
red with blood
endless rivulets
flowing in gutters
dulling the mind and
the senses
screams hollow and
now unheard
rank smells filling
the air about
red with blood – red with
blood
the snow, the bodies,
all about
nothing seen in the
glaze of red!
