As sugar on the countertop

or something for a raccoon

someone flashing money

drugs and incense to offer

sex, scandal, power offered

seeking to entice everyone

infants, children, teenagers

men, women – abusing all

lest we understand but this;

 

None can be tempted past

Their individual will to last;

 

Temptations cannot come in

Unless we invite them within;

 

Temptations can be rejected

when repentance accepted;

 

As sugar on the countertop

We’ve the ability to stop!
