Composing
whatever we might be
so much
the philosophers decide
using
grand terms and ideas
omitting
much from the scribes
declaring
this and then that
flowing
in rhetorical prose
beguiling
and smiling each
never
deciding or concluding
except
where they confound
ignoring
one’s ability to reason
leading
astray a psych malleable
decrying
our bodies corrupted
and
without anything of spirit
there is
nothing after our life
but of
course we’re led anyway
just superstition
and myths!
