Putting it away somewhere lost

Terrible now facing the cost;

 

Ridicule and laughter to face

All over the moon to chase;

 

Seeking to find a hole to fill

Hearing the child in me shrill;

 

Figuring a new reply to repeat

Landing soundly on my seat;

 

Buttonholed by my luck all bad

Now you see me down and sad!
