How dare you quote the Bible

even to take as literal truth

the Savior was paraphrasing

surely you don’t believe it all

there is no reasoning now

you only are found as evil

raising a hand harsh above

proclaiming ‘BLASPHEMY’

that we can become perfect

as God is so we might become

man and woman eternal

the family unit to be found

mansions to inhabit each

bodies of flesh and bone

sadly each truth proclaimed

each written clearly/simply

the Scriptures repeating all

not just once but thrice

yet the world screams

pointing, ‘BLASPHEMY!’
