“By Their Fruit”

Some fruit just hang around
Others in hurry on the ground;
Some ripen always on time
Others in some mall’s line;
Frozen in time and often space
Keeping up the next horse race;
Some waiting for the Summer
Some the winter – dumber;
Some never even to bloom
Others taking in the swoon;
By their fruit are they known
No matter how they’ve grown!
